Will the 1$ pledge get me into the pledge manager to update later?

Yes, the €1 pledge will get you into the pledge manager. You will be able to change your pledge in the Backerkit pledge manager once the campaign ends.

What’s the difference between the Kickstarter Deluxe Edition and the future Retail Edition of Hamlet?

• This Founders’ Deluxe Edition of Hamlet comes with a different box art, a unique backer number and certificate on the inside of the box, as well as the following KS exclusive Deluxe components: a 3D cardboard church, beautiful metal coins, custom illustrated villager and donkey meeples. On top of that, this edition will be available much earlier than the Retail Edition. • We have no solid date for the Retail print run yet. The Founders’ Deluxe Edition is expected to deliver to backers in 2022, while our current estimate is that the Retail version will not hit shops till somewhere in Q2 2023. • The Retail version will have a lower price point, of course achieved through using cheaper materials and components. We think it will be around 45€. • We will be working with Language partners for the retail edition of the game. No deals are signed yet, but we would like to have it in multiple languages.

Will the Founders’ Deluxe Edition be sold elsewhere?

We will print this numbered edition only once, based on the demand of this Kickstarter. Any remaining stock from this single print run will be sold by Mighty Boards directly from their web-shop or as a promotional item at conventions. Once that stock runs out, this particular numbered edition will not be printed again. The Deluxe Components that are included in the Founders‘ Edition may be included in future KS-exclusive Deluxe editions of Hamlet, or may be repurposed as separate promotional items that are sold individually as KS exclusives - or promos - in the future.

Will the game be available in retail?

The Kickstarter Deluxe version of Hamlet will not be available in retail. However, we hope to bring the Retail Edition of Hamlet to your local stores in 2023. We are currently discussing languages for the Retail Edition.

What language versions are/will be available?

The Founder’s Deluxe Edition of Hamlet will only be available in English. We are currently discussing with Language partners for the retail edition of the game. No deals are signed yet, but we would like to have it in multiple languages.

Can I try the game on TTS/TT/PnP?

We have a “Tabletop Simulator” and “Tabletopia” versions available on the campaign’s page. Due to the nature - and components - of this game, we won’t have a Print and Play version.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
